Exploring Feelings, One Tile at a Time

In MonsArt therapy games, we tile up MonCards without judgment, creating a visual puzzle of emotions. Together, we explore what each part might represent, then adjust the placement or add new cards to help resolve tension and restore emotional balance.

Monthly therapy results are shared for open feedback, inviting comments and reflections to support the creator’s growth.

In my view, the creator portrays a joyful and playful family moment, with the sibling at the center of the scene. However, in the background, a more fearful authority figure appears, adding a sense of tension or hidden fear behind the joy.

Before

It seems the creator places themselves in the bottom right corner, running away with a wheel—perhaps symbolizing an attempt to escape responsibility or the burden of holding things together.

After

After changing and adding pieces, the final artwork represents a rebalanced emotional landscape and a new perspective on the situation.

After rearranging and adding pieces, the final artwork reflects a shift in emotion and understanding.

The new perspective is not about running away, but about accepting the situation—turning to face the monster, seeing all its eyes, and finding the courage to laugh and speak to it.
